Conservation
Neds expertise is in the conservation and repair of historic buildings and artefacts, he specialises in sculpture made of stone and plaster and is a visiting tutor at The City and Guilds of London Art School, teaching the use of traditional and historic mortars, including fresco.
He has over twenty years experience of working on facsinating projects, from prestigious landmark buildings of national importance, to ancient vernacular churches. The variety of works include a three year project repairing the C13th Cosmati pavement at Westminster Abbey, the repair and remodelling of exquisite Roccoco plasterwork at the Molineaux hotel, and the dismantling, repair and rebuilding of many monuments and medeival effigies and tomb chests across the country. Building conservation projects as principal contractor include the tiny island church of St Cwyfan off the coast of Anglesey, as well as many other small rural medeival Churches and private historic houses.
